Book and drift is a project of artistic creation at the crossroads of literature and visual arts, proposed as part of the entertainment program organized by school libraries Emilie Harvut with kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes of the Commission scolaire Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
By combining their expertise, literary events and artistic creation, Emilia Harvut, Guylaine Coderre and the center AdMare artists collaborate to develop the content of a workshop which aims to introduce young students to the basic operation of a library and play with words, through a playful and artistic experience inspired by reading excerpts from the book the Songlines and the realization of a collective work.
The works created with each class will be collected, displayed and presented at the headquarters of the Longlines (ex-Espace Bleu) 5 to 25 June 2016.
